What's included in the price of camp?

Tuition includes camp only.  Food and lodging is on your own. Scholarships available by contacting us.

What kind of music will we sing?

We sing songs from world cultures, as well as songs from local composers. We explore improvisation as well as printed musics.

 

Are there auditions?

No. Singers and hikers of all levels are welcome to join.

 

How strenuous are the explorations?

Hikers should be able to walk distances of  2 - 5 miles. These are not strenuous hikes, rather saunters as we alternate between walking and singing, silence and then sound. Outings will be tailored to participants. 

 

Where do I stay during camp?

This is a day camp!  If you want to travel home each day, yay! If you want a complete break, there are several area B and B's, Motor Inns, and Airbnb accommodations. We can help you find accommodations, and for select camps we will provide limited housing for campers. 

 

How about food?

Food is on your own, and lunch is often on the trail. 

Some days we'll have an outing to a local restaurant or cafe. 

If that is an option for your chosen camp, it will be outlined in the individual camp schedule.

 

Drugs/Alcohol and Social Interactions

Singers commit to an alcohol/drug-free environment, and adhere to a respectful code of conduct where there will be no intimate/ sexual contact.

We pledge mutual respect, tolerance, kindness, generosity of spirit, and love of music and the outdoors!

 

Sample Schedule​

Our days are simple, flexible, and structured to meet the needs of the group.

• Meet in a common space at the onset of each day.

• Carpool to our trailhead, then set our for the day.

• Half-day and full day may include an extended session of introduction to our songs.

• Schedule sent prior to the beginning of each camp. 

• Schedule subject to change due to weather.

Refund Policy

​

• A full Camp CREDIT (less payment processing fees) will be issued to you up to six weeks prior to camp start dates; 50% camp credit up to three weeks prior to camp.

• Less than three weeks prior to camp, and no credit will be issued.

• Credit is good for the current season or following camp seasons, for private lessons, workshops, classes, or towards a Sound Healing Sessions.

• Cash refunds are granted  on an individual basis, for extenuating circumstances, and at the sole discretion of the director.

• Camp reserves the right to cancel a Camp for any reason without prior notice.

• In this case, FULL REFUND is given for all monies collected.

• Camp will not be responsible for refunds on airline flights, hotel reservations, or any incidental fees incurred in conjunction with the Camp.
